Teamsters Local 805 Pension and Retirement Plan

The Teamsters Local 805 plan submitted an application for partition on February 1, 2017. On February 15, 2017, PBGC notified the plan that its initial submission was incomplete. On March 10, 2017, the plan resubmitted an application for PBGC review, which PBGC concluded was a complete application for purposes of its review on March 21, 2017. The plan later withdrew its submission on September 21, 2017.

On January 31, 2018, the plan resubmitted an application for PBGC review, which PBGC concluded was a complete application for purposes of its review on February 14, 2018.

On November 16, 2018, PBGC issued an order partitioning the Teamsters Local 805 Pension and Retirement Fund. PBGC issued this order after finding that the plan’s application for partition, dated January 31, 2018, satisfied all the requirements for partition under the Multiemployer Pension Reform Act of 2014.
