Multiemployer Premiums

(ERISA Sec. 4006)

Multiemployer plans pay a premium based on the number of participants covered by the plan. The rate is indexed for wage inflation. See Premium Rates for additional information.

The status of PBGC's multiemployer program, and the amount of premiums the program collects from plan sponsors, is reported in PBGC's Annual Report.
