Workers, Retirees, & Beneficiaries in Single-Employer Plans

If PBGC is responsible for your pension benefit, or if you are a beneficiary entitled to current or future benefits administered by PBGC, contact us:

MyPBA: My Pension Benefit Access

Our secure online service allows you to update your contact information, apply for pension benefits, or perform other self-service options.

The My Pension Benefit Access (MyPBA) application will undergo a systems upgrade starting Thursday, July 15 through Friday, July 16, 2021. The Customer Contact Center will close at 12:00 PM EDT on Thursday, July 15 and reopen on Monday, July 19 at 9:00 AM EDT.  

During the week of July 19 through July 23, the Customer Contact Center will temporarily operate 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EDT.

Workers, Retirees, & Beneficiaries in Multiemployer Plans

A multiemployer plan is created through a collective bargaining agreement between employers and a union. The employers are usually in the same or related industries, such as transportation, construction, mining, and hospitality. If you are in a private-sector multiemployer plan and have a question for PBGC, contact us:

Service Problems

PBGC's Customer Contact Center can handle most of your service needs, including requests for changing your address, adjusting your federal income tax withholding, and obtaining PBGC forms.
