Securing Your Private Information

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation continues to take all measures necessary to strengthen the security and prevent theft of the personal information of participants in pension plans whose benefits are administered by PBGC. To this end, PBGC's Customer Contact Center must have written authorization (or power of attorney ) already on file with PBGC before we can discuss information about a participant with someone other than his or her spouse.
