Partitioning Order Issued

On August 31, 2017, PBGC issued an order partitioning the United Furniture Workers Pension Fund A. PBGC issued this order after finding that the plan’s application for partition, dated February 28, 2017, satisfied all the requirements for partition under the Multiemployer Pension Reform Act of 2014. Partition Decision Issued

On July 20, 2017, PBGC issued its decision on the United Furniture Workers Pension Fund A application for a partition under the Multiemployer Pension Reform Act of 2014. PBGC has conditionally approved the plan’s partition application. View the notification letter.
