Retirees – Payee Information Form Required
PBGC recently sent Payee Information Forms (PIF) to retirees in each of the 2 Rouge Steel Hourly Plans - the Rouge Steel Company-UAW Past Service Retirement Plan (PBGC Case Number 20138300), and the Rouge Steel Company-UAW Retirement Plan (PBGC Case Number 20138100). These forms were sent to participants who were receiving pension benefits when the pension plans terminated on October 31, 2005.
PBGC uses the PIF to confirm the information we received about you from the prior plan administrator. You must complete and return the form in order to continue to receive your pension benefits from PBGC. If you are receiving a benefit from both plans, you must complete a separate PIF for each plan. If you have already returned your PIF, thank you for your cooperation. If you have not yet returned your PIF, or if you are required to complete two forms but have only returned one, please complete and return them as soon as possible. If we do not receive your completed forms by May 6, 2011, we will suspend your benefit payments beginning June 1, 2011.
